In the process of plastic processing, polyethylene wax can be used as dispersant of various masterbatches, processing lubricant of various plastics and bulking agent of wood-plastic composites, which is a common additive in plastic processing industry. Masterbatch is composed of carrier resin, filler and various additives. The limit of additives or filler content in masterbatch is several times to more than ten times higher than what is needed in actual plastic products. With the increasing development of the plastics industry, the plastics processing industry is increasingly tending to use a variety of easy-to-operate functional masterbatches to achieve the purpose of reducing raw material costs, process costs, improving production efficiency, and giving plastic products different properties to meet the different needs of the market. Filler masterbatches can reduce the cost of raw materials and improve the rigidity, hardness and abrasion resistance of plastic products; lubricating masterbatches can make the produced plastic films easy to open and improve the production efficiency and reduce the scrap rate. Dow polyethylene wax can be used as dispersant for color masterbatches of various thermoplastic resins and lubricant dispersant for filler masterbatches and degradation masterbatches. Polyethylene wax has good compatibility with plastics, good heat resistance, good mixing and easy to crush, and does not affect the performance of end products; it plays the role of infiltration, dispersion and stabilization for particles of fillers or pigments.
