The varnish film without matting agent is in mirror film leveling state, when the light reaches the surface of the mirror film, the incident light is partially absorbed and partially reflected, and the reflected part makes the film appear glossy.
For the varnish film containing silica matting agent, the silica particles uniformly distributed in the film form a kind of micro-rough surface. From the scanning electron microscope photo of the coating film section, it can be clearly seen that the matting agent particles are uniformly distributed in the coating film, and when the incident light reaches the uneven surface of the film, diffuse reflection occurs, i.e. scattering occurs to produce a low gloss matte and matte appearance. The use of high porosity, good particle size distribution and suitable surface treatment of silica matting agent can get a good matting effect.
The high-grade styrene/acrylate emulsions mentioned below are developed for interior wall coatings. Not only are there formulas based on traditional surfactants, but also alkylphenol surfactants are used by surfactants that do not contain alkylphenols. Alternative formula. The following also mentions the comparison test results with the more popular high-end emulsions for interior wall coatings on the market.

(3) Production process
① Prepare component 2 (pre-emulsion) and component 4.
②Add component 1 to the reactor.
③Add 10% of component 2 and component 4 at 84~86℃ to start seed emulsion polymerization.
④ After the seed emulsion polymerization is completed, amide wax formula, the temperature drops to 86°C. Component 2 and Component 5 are continuously added within 180 minutes, and Component 3 is added to the reactor after 60 minutes.
⑤After the dripping is finished, keep it warm for 90min, and then cool to 65℃o
Component 6 and component 7 are prepared.
⑦ After adding component 6 and component 7, react for 30 minutes.
⑧Cool to <40℃, adjust the pH value to 8~9 with ammonia water (12.5%)
⑨Filter (perl on filter, 80jm).
