The good effect of the glazing process is obvious. It is very beneficial to correctly understand several situations that affect the glazing quality, and then take corresponding measures to overcome it, which is very beneficial to improve the quality of color printing products.
1. The effect of temperature on the quality of product glazing
Under normal circumstances, the temperature of the glazing of the printed product can be controlled at about 20 ℃ to achieve ideal results. However, if glazing in winter, due to the low temperature, the glazing oil is easy to solidify, which is not conducive to the normal flow of the glazing oil, resulting in uneven oil film on the surface of the product after glazing, so its brightness must be poor. In order to overcome the disadvantages caused by the defects of environmental conditions, the varnish should be placed in a relatively warm place. If the temperature of the glazing oil is lower than 10 ℃, the glazing oil should be moved to a room with a room temperature of 20 ℃ for more than a day and night, so that the glazing oil can maintain the fluidity required by the glazing conditions. If necessary, add solvent to dilute the varnish stock solution as appropriate to facilitate normal glazing.
2. The influence of paper characteristics on the quality of glazing
Technological practice shows that the quality and characteristics of paper directly affect the quality of glazing products to a large extent. For example, the gloss effect of coated paper is obviously improved after glazing due to its smooth surface. The surface of whiteboard paper or offset paper is rough, the glazing effect is relatively poor, and the brightness is not obvious enough. This is because the varnish is almost completely absorbed by the rough paper fibers. In order to make up for the defect that the paper is easy to absorb oil and make the printed product less glossy, the casein primer can be applied on the surface of the printed product first, and then the varnish can be applied. Brightness to ensure glazing quality.
3. The influence of printing ink on the quality of glazing products
If the heat resistance and alcohol resistance of the ink used in the varnishing product are poor, the printed image and text will be discolored or have quality failures such as wrinkled skin. Therefore, the printing ink of the glazing product should be resistant to alcohol, ester solvent and acid and alkali. In addition, it is also required that the ink can last for a long time without discoloration and has good gloss, and has a strong adhesion and printing effect to the paper, so as to prevent the ink color of the printed product from changing due to glazing and affecting the glazing quality of the product.
4, the effect of crystallization of printed products on the quality of glazing
If the stencil prints are left for too long or excessive drying oil is added to the base ink, the ink layer will crystallize on the surface of the paper. In this way, the glazing oil does not adhere to the ink layer, resulting in the phenomenon of oil layer blooming and unevenness. 2 micron wax powder for 3d printing, When this happens, just add 5% lactic acid to the glazing oil, and then glazing can be done after stirring evenly. Applying this modified varnish to the printed matter can damage the vitrified crystal film on the surface of the printed matter, so as to achieve the requirement of evenly adsorbing the varnish and form a bright film on the ink layer.
As long as the above factors affecting the glazing quality are correctly understood, and attention is paid to each link in the actual production process, not only can the production efficiency be improved, but also the glazing quality of the printed product can be effectively guaranteed.
