Characteristics and Purposes
Ø The micronized wax PTFE-0104 has very good heat resistance and lubricity that can be used in engineering plastics, lubricating oil and grease, non-stick coatings, cable and other industries.
Ø Can provide the products with very low friction coefficient when added into coatings and inks,
PTFE-0104 has excellent abrasion and scratch resistance and sliding property. This product has excellent sliding degree in the coating and printing ink.
Ø Its molecular weight is usually one percent of the commonly used PTFE resin, it not only keep the original excellent properties, but also has the advantages of high crystallization degree,good dispersion, and easy to mix with other materials.
Ø In powder coating application, the micronized PTFE wax provides a distinct performance on scratch resistance.
Ø In paints and printing inks applications, PTFE-0104 provides an excellent smoothness (slip). In printing inks, an additional amount of 0.1% ~ 3% can significantly improve the sliding properties of ink, and can enhance the scratch resistance in printing products; it can avoid the adhesion of the paper products.

Contents and Methods of Use
Ø In a variety of systems, the additional amount of the micronized wax is generally between 0.1to 3%.
Ø Usually by a direct high-speed stirring, it can disperse in solvent-based coatings and printing inks.
Ø It can be added by a variety of grinding machines, high-shear dispersing device, and should pay attention to the temperature control when using the grind mill.
Ø Can carry out the decentralized processing to make the wax slurry with the wax powder concentration at 20-30%., then add it into the systems when needed, which can decrease the dispersion time

Ø Do not smoke while operating the micronized PTFE wax, avoiding the micronized wax to touch the cigarette-burns because it can produce some toxic gases that maybe inhaled.
