Wax additives for coatings can improve abrasion resistance, slip, anti-friction and transparency effectively.
1, Degassing property. 3, Control gloss. In the baking, the wax will float to the surface of the coating film, forming a mist, thus playing a role in reducing the effect of gloss.
4, Anti-abrasion, anti-scratch, anti-scuff. Wax is distributed on the surface of the coating to protect the film from scratches and scuffs and to provide abrasion resistance. Generally, the waxes added are propylene modified wax and PTFE wax, which are particularly effective for dark-colored flat formulations and low-light sanding formulations.
5, Particle reduction and handprint resistance. People in the production of powder containing metal powder, pearl powder, etc., there are the following problems: (1) the amount of metal powder after adding more, the powder will have particles, and the amount of charge will be reduced. After adding certain post-mixing wax will obviously improve such effect. (2) due to the flash silver formula after a period of time, there will be a loss of light, the surface of the handprint can not be removed and other phenomena. 6, Sanding agent. Sanding agent is in the powder to promote the basic powder does not level or insoluble in the curing system of a class of substances. Choose PTFE wax or polyolefin modified wax.
