1, Paints and coatings

PTFE wax can be used as additive in paint to improve its release performance, anti-surface abrasion, lubricity, chemical resistance, weather resistance and water resistance. It can also be used to improve the surface structure and gloss of paints and coatings. PTFE wax micronized powder can be used in wood, plastic, industrial and other paints to play a good feel and anti-scratch etc.

2, Ink

PTFE wax can be used as anti-wear agent in ink, which can improve the abrasion resistance, lubricity, surface gloss, and also improve the caking and gloss. It can be used in various inks such as screen, gravure, lithography and surface printing to play the role of anti-precipitation, anti-adhesion, anti-scratch, anti-sticking and anti-friction, etc. It also provides smooth and soft hand feeling as well as better hydrophobicity and sealing.

3, Oil and grease

PTFE wax is the ideal additive to improve the high and low temperature lubricant of oil and grease. It can be added to high viscosity special lubricants (perfluoropolyether oil, silicone resin, fluorosiloxane, hydrocarbon lubricants). It can improve the service life and lubricating performance of lubricant, especially in high temperature and corrosive environment.

4, Powder coating

It can be used in powder coating, which can improve the surface hardness, slipperiness, friction resistance, and also has certain matting effect.

2, Usually it can be dispersed directly in solvent-based coatings and inks by high-speed stirring.

3, It can be added by various mills and high shear dispersion equipment, and attention should be paid to control the grinding temperature when using mills.

4, Pre-dispersion treatment can be carried out to prepare wax slurry with 20-30% concentration of wax powder and add it to the system when needed, which can reduce the dispersion time of wax powder.
