Antistatic agent and conductive agent
Since the advent of synthetic polymer materials, it has become an indispensable raw material in the fields of fibers, elastomers, engineering structural materials and surface coating materials. Most synthetic polymer materials have excellent processability and electrical insulation, and their surface resistivity is very high (usually 1012 ~ 1080 a few cm), so it is easy to accumulate static charge during use. When static electricity accumulates ft paraffin wax to a certain level, a series of hazards will occur. At the slightest, it absorbs dust, causing product pollution; at the worst, it causes major accidents such as fires and explosions.

In the coating industry, synthetic polymer materials are used as film-forming substances to prepare high-end coatings. Antistatic agents and conductive agents are typical functional additives that can change the electrical properties of film-forming substances. Synthetic materials are classified according to the surface resistivity. Those with a surface resistivity of less than or equal to 10Q·cm are generally used as conductive materials, and those with a surface resistivity of 10#Q·cm or more are generally used as insulating materials, and the surface resistivity is 105~10°· The material of cm can fully dissipate the static charge, and the surface resistivity of 10°~10+40·cm can be regarded as an antistatic material. The additive that can make the polymer material have this performance is called an antistatic agent. In the coating industry, antistatic agents generally refer to organic compounds with the structural characteristics of surfactants.

Adding conductive substances (such as carbon black, carbon fiber, metal microwires, conductive polymers and conductive inorganic substances) to the polymer materials can also make the coating film antistatic, and change with the amount of it to make the polymer materials It has different levels of antistatic properties and even becomes a conductor. Such substances are collectively referred to as conductive agents, and can also be referred to as conductive fillers. The coating resistivity of the conductive paint prepared with this as the main body is generally between 10-2~101·cm. Conductive paint has antistatic, conductive and electromagnetic shielding functions.
