Cytec CYCAT 4040 catalyst is a p-toluenesulfonic acid catalyst used in electrophoretic coatings due to its hydrophobicity.CYCAT 4040 catalyst can be used in solvent and aqueous coatings to improve corrosion resistance. It is particularly suitable for electrostatic spraying because of its high electrostatic impedance.
