Application of Delay Catalyst

2021-11-24   Pageview:583

Delayed catalysts are widely used in polyurethane rigid foam, polyurethane flexible foam, molded foam, polyurethane adhesives, coatings, elastomers, shoe soles pastes and other fields.

Delayed catalysts can be divided into two types: delayed foam catalysts and delayed gel catalysts, both of which can be widely used in polyurethane foam field, while delayed gel type polyurethane catalysts are mostly used in CASE field.

The application of sun-burning additives can improve the fire-proof and thermal insulation performance, surface quality, impact strength, flexibility, and impact strength of fire-retardant coatings; increase hardness, reduce shrinkage, and dry and wet density and cost. The flame retardant wax additives mentioned in the wood festival are limited to the more current varieties.

(1) Vermiculite is a layered structure of magnesium-containing hydroaluminosilicate, which looks like mica. Because it flexes when heated and expands, and its shape resembles leeches, it is called vermiculite. It has heat insulation, It has excellent properties such as frost resistance, antibacterial, fire resistance, and sound absorption, but it is not acid resistant and its dielectric properties are relatively poor. Baked at a high temperature of 800~1000℃, the volume can be increased by 4~15 times, and the color can be changed to golden yellow or silver white. Used in fireproof coatings, it expands in case of fire to insulate and fire.

(2) Mica powder Mica is a complex silicate, belonging to the monoclinic crystal system, and the crystals are often hexagonal flakes. The aggregate is scaly, with glassy luster, and the composition of mica is very complex, and because it contains various metal salts, it has different colors.

Muscovite is potassium aluminosilicate [KAI·(Al SiO aOi) (OH) a], which is white, light yellow, light brown or pink, and has a relative density of 2.76 to 3.2. Phlogopite is potassium magnesium aluminosilicate [KMg: (Al SiO gOro) (OH) a], which is yellow to dark brown and has a relative density of 2.86. Mica powder has unique acid resistance, alkali resistance, chemical stability, and also has good insulation and heat resistance, non-combustibility, and corrosion resistance. The chemical composition of mica powder: Si Oz, AlzO, F egOs, CaO, MgO, Kz O, NazO are 44.30%, 31.2%, 5.74%, 0.75%, 0.62%, 10.58%, 1.17%, hardness 2.5 Between ~4.0, it can be used as a filler for fireproof coatings.

In the application, it is required that the heating loss of mica powder is not more than 0.1%, and the sieve residue (100 mesh) is not more than 0.5%. Table 2316 shows the properties and chemical composition of the two cloud powders.
