From coating additives sand grain powder to wax powder

As a coating additive, sand grain powder has the characteristics of good fineness, dispersibility, high melting point and high melting viscosity, and is generally used in self-drying coatings and baking coating systems. Numerous application characteristics make it favored by the coating industry, and the appearance of white powder particles is easily reminiscent of another coating additive – wax powder!

Wax powder is an additive with waxy properties. Its particle size is relatively small, generally 3~10um, and the prepared paint film is smooth and neat! There are many kinds of wax powder, which can be divided into polyethylene wax (PE wax), polypropylene wax (PP wax), polytetrafluoroethylene wax (PTFE wax), polyamide wax (PA wax) and so on according to the material. According to different usages, it can be divided into high-gloss wax powder, micronized wax, and ordinary wax powder.

The wax powders generally sold on the market are micronized waxes, pe wax manufacturers .
