Benzophenone/tertiary amine photoinitiation system
Benzophenone (BP) industrial products are generally colorless or slightly yellow crystals, and have good solubility in common solvents. The maximum absorption wavelength is about 340nm, which matches the emission wavelength of the medium pressure mercury lamp. BP is easy to synthesize and is a low-cost photoinitiator, but its photoinitiation activity is generally not as good as HM PP, HCP K and other commonly used cracking photoinitiators. When used as a photoinitiator, the curing rate is relatively slow and easy It causes yellowing of the cured coating, and the use of a large amount of tertiary amine co-initiator will aggravate the yellowing.
