An important application of PE wax is in PVC processing. Compared to fatty acid-based lubricants, it does not adversely affect melt tension and Vicat softening point, and provides excellent anti-sticking and flow control. PE wax can be used to control the melt in special processing methods. It has good compatibility with other components even when added in large amounts.

3, The role of PE wax as external lubricant is mainly to improve the friction between the polymer melt and the hot metal surface of the processing equipment. It is less compatible with the polymer and easily migrates outward from inside the melt, so it can form a thin layer of lubrication at the intersection of the plastic melt and the metal.
The role of oxidized polyethylene wax (PE wax) in PVC is as follows
1, lubricant, its molecular chain has a certain amount of carbonyl and hydroxyl, good compatibility with fillers, pigments, polar resin, its high melting point and low viscosity, promote good resin mobility, relatively reduce the power consumption of resin mixing, reduce the adhesion of resin and mold, easy to demold, plays the role of internal and external lubrication, while having good anti-static properties.
2, Plasticizing. High-density oxidized polyethylene wax melting point, in PVC can play a role in increasing the speed of plasticization and improve the role of metal stripping.
3, Lusterity. High-density oxidized polyethylene is an efficient external lubricant, so it can give high gloss and smoothness to the surface of products when they are molded and demolded.
4, Dispersibility. The average particle size of high-density polyethylene oxide wax is about 20 microns, and it is basically free of impurities. It has narrow particle size distribution and uniform fineness, and can be dispersed together with pigments.
