Dispersant is a kind of surfactant with two opposite properties of lipophilicity and hydrophilicity at the same time in the molecule. It can uniformly disperse the solid and liquid particles of inorganic and organic pigments that are difficult to dissolve in liquids, and at the same time, it can prevent the sedimentation and agglomeration of the particles, and form the necessary agents for stable suspensions. The function of the dispersant is to use the wetting and dispersing agent to reduce the time and energy required to complete the dispersion process, stabilize the dispersed pigment dispersion, modify the surface properties of the pigment particles, and adjust the mobility of the pigment particles.
Features of water-based carbon black dispersants (wax additives for coatings):
1. It has good and stable wetting and dispersing properties for organic and inorganic pigments, especially suitable for dispersing carbon black pigments;
2. Provide color development and stability;
3. At higher pigment content, low viscosity pigment dispersion system can be obtained.
Scope of application: environmentally friendly water-based color paste, water-based ink.
Application method: The dispersant should be dispersed in the water medium first, and then the pigment should be added for high-speed grinding.
