Oxidized polyethylene wax is low molecular weight polyethylene. It is characterized by a high softening point (above 100°C), close to that of high molecular weight polyethylene, while the melt viscosity and hardness are close to that of paraffin wax. Uses of oxidized polyethylene wax
1, In the production process of PVC, it can improve the gloss and transparency of the film, and can improve the longitudinal and transverse toughness of the film.
2, It can be used as dispersant of ink and paint, and has good anti-sink effect, so that the printed products have good luster and three-dimensional sense.
3, It can be used as internal dispersant in color master batch processing.
4, It can improve the softening point of wax products, increase the strength of wax products to make the surface glossy, and when the candle is lit, it burns safely and brightly without black smoke.
5, PVC profile, pipe, plastic molding process for internal lubricant, can improve the toughness of plastic products, make the surface of products smooth, high qualification rate.
For PVC and other external lubricants, compared to the polyethylene wax has a stronger internal lubrication role. It can be used in ink, paper, concentrated masterbatch, biological double decomposition masterbatch, floor film and candle, etc. It can be used in paints and hot melt adhesives, binders, etc.
Oxidized polyethylene wax is close to paraffin wax with higher oxidation and better external lubricating properties. The part of its structure that is polarly compatible with plastic acts as internal lubrication, and the part that is polarly incompatible with plastic acts as external lubrication and mold release.
