In the paint mixing and grinding stage, due to the foaming properties of wetting and dispersing agents, it is sometimes necessary to add anti-foaming defoamers to avoid the negative impact of bubbles on the grinding efficiency during the production process, the paint overflows the tank, and the packaging For the measurement problem in the tank or the waiting time to wait for the elimination of bubbles after filling, this type of defoaming agent usually chooses the polymer type or the polysiloxane type defoaming agent with strong foam suppression. At the same time, in order to help the gas contained in the pores of pigments and fillers to be quickly replaced and removed, it can also be used with a wetting and dispersing agent with strong wetting properties (such as Deqian Dispone r912). Anti-settling and thixotropic agent
The purpose of the anti-settling and thixotropic agents added at this stage is not to prevent the problem of anti-settling of pigments and fillers in the paint production process, but to focus on the anti-settling of the finished paint in the storage process, the prevention of hard precipitation, and the rheological requirements during coating ( Anti-sagging, but low impact on leveling) and the arrangement and orientation of metallic pigments.
