Application of OPE wax in hot melt adhesives

2021-12-28   Pageview:291

Oxidized polyethylene wax has good stability and better thermal stability when used in hot melt adhesives. Thus, it does not precipitate at high temperature and does not cause any effect on the appearance performance of hot melt adhesives.

The product has good lubricity in the process of filling masterbatch and can effectively solve the precipitation phenomenon of filling masterbatch products. The hot melt adhesive produced by adding polyethylene wax has good cold resistance, heat resistance, acid and alkali salt media corrosion resistance and thermal stability, anti-slip, good fixation, high adhesive strength, excellent temperature resistance, etc.

56100 – coefficient of conversion to KOH mg. For polyester resins with different acid values and epoxy resins with different epoxy values; the ratio between them can also be calculated according to this formula. Practice has proved that the quality ratio of these two resins is formulated in a wide range, within the error range of 10% according to the calculated amount, and the impact on the performance of the coating film is not too great. At present, the price of polyester resin is cheaper than epoxy resin, polyester resin dosage is cheaper when the powder coating price, heat resistance and yellowing resistance of the film is good, but polyester resin dosage is too much, due to the crosslink density of the coating film decreases so that the physical and mechanical properties of the coating film also decreases, so according to the coating film performance requirements to polypropylene polyethylene wax choose the appropriate polyester resin / epoxy resin (quality) with the Ni ratio is important. In the epoxy-polyester resin powder coatings, different acid value polyester resin properties are shown in Table 4-81, 4-81, different ratios of epoxy-polyester powder coating formulations are shown in Table 4-82, different ratios of epoxy-polyester powder coating film properties are shown in Table 4-83.
