Uses of oxidized polyethylene wax

Oxidized polyethylene wax can be sed in large quantities in water-based coatings and ink formulations to provide excellent abrasion resistance, anti-adhesive linkage has anti-scratch properties. In the plastic processing industry, it has a more balanced effect on the internal and external lubrication of PVC; adding oxidized polyethylene wax to hard transparent and opaque PVC formulations its lubricity is better than other lubricants.

It is widely used in PE, PVC cable making, PVC profile and pipe making, and it is no less than an excellent new plastic processing lubricant. It can also be used as raw and auxiliary materials for textile softener, car wax, leather softener, and as dispersant, lubricant and brightener in PP molding process to enhance plasticization, improve the toughness and surface smoothness of plastic products.














Commonly used domestic curing accelerators are 2-methylimidazole, triethylbenzyl chloride, 2-phenylimidazoline, etc. The dosage of 0.05%~0.5% of the total resin. For example, the amount of 2-phenylimidazoline in 0.05% ~ ester powder coating performance impact is shown in Table 4-80.

Second, the principle of curing reaction
As mentioned above, in the epoxy-polyester powder coating, carboxyl polyester resin and epoxy resin are the film-forming substances. The reactive group in the carboxyl polyester resin is carboxyl-based, and there are a small number of hydroxyl groups remaining in the polyester resin synthesis process; the reactive group in the epoxy resin is the epoxy group and hydroxyl group. In the process of baking and curing epoxy-polyester powder coatings, the main chemical reaction is the reaction between the carboxyl group in the carboxyl polyester resin and the epoxy group in the epoxy resin.
